Dear Colleagues!
The 2nd International Scientific-Practical Conference “GRAPHENE AND RELATED STRUCTURES:
SYNTHESIS, PRODUCTION, AND APPLICATION” will be held in Tambov (Russia) on the basis of Tambov State
Technical University on November 15-17, 2017. It is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science
of the Russian Federation, Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Fund for Infrastructure and
Educational Programs, Institute for Problems of Chemical Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences,
V.I. Vernadsky Non-Governmental Environmental Foundation, Technological Institute for Superhard and
Novel Carbon Materials, Russian-Chinese Research Institute of Graphene, Belarusian State University,
and Tambov State Technical University.
The conference is intended for scientists, university professors, graduate and postgraduate
students, PhD and postdoctoral fellows, researchers and specialists in the field of industrial
production, applied research and use of carbon nanomaterials (graphene, nanographite, carbon nanotubes
and nanofibers, functional and construction materials), as well as metrological maintenance,
standardization and quality control for carbon nanotechnology-based products. During the Conference,
the Workshop for young scientists will take place.
Conference languages: Russian and English;
Participation form: in-person or remote;
Contribution types: plenary and sectional reports/communications, posters.
The Conference program will be composed of the following sections:
- SECTION 1. Graphene, Nanographite
- SECTION 2. Carbon Nanotubes and Nanofibers
- SECTION 3. Functional and Construction Nanomaterials
- SECTION 4. Metrological Maintenance, Standardization and Quality Control for Carbon Nanotechnology-Based Products
The Conference proceedings containing accepted reports (prepared as short papers) will be published
and sent to the participants before the Conference. ISSN, UDC and BBK codes will be assigned to them.
Besides, they will be sent to libraries and registered in the Russian Book Chamber.
All the short papers submitted and accepted for the Conference will be peer-reviewed by qualified
specialists.
ATTENTION!!!
After the Conference, the authors of the best reports will be asked to prepare full papers
(15-20 pages) on the basis thereof. The papers will be published free of charge in the journal
"Advanced Materials and Technologies".
Participation
To participate in the Conference, it is required to fill in the registration form at http://graphene.tstu.ru/en/ before June 1, 2017. There are two participation forms – in-person and remote.
The in-person form implies participation with contribution (oral or poster) or without it (simple attendance). For the remote participation,
one should send a short paper.
Important Dates (Deadlines):
- October 1, 2017: Registration (form to be filled in at http://graphene.tstu.ru/en/)
- October 1, 2017: Submission of short papers (to be sent to graphene-conf@yandex.ru)
- October 15, 2017: Notification of participation and short paper acceptance
- November 1, 2017 (or on the spot): Payment of registration fees
- November 15, 2017: Conference opening
- November 17, 2017: Conference closing
- Inclusion of short papers into the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) database: within 2 weeks after the Conference closing

The Conference will be held at the AMAKS Park-Hotel (Block 101, Suburban Forest, Tambov, Russia,

Non-resident participants will be accommodated at the same hotel.
